overflex occupies the 1st place in the ranking Best Workplaces 2023, in the category of companies with 51-100 employees in Portugal. The ranking Best Workplaces™ is an annual classification made by Great Place to Work® (GPTW®), the global authority on workplace culture.
Among the five social awards given, Coverflex won the award for best Portuguese company in the human development category.
At Coverflex, we believe that organisational culture is made up of the company’s practices, processes, and values. It is the compass for all our initiatives, and begins and ends with what is most important to us: our people. The work model at Coverflex is 100% remote, and employees have several advantages, such as an onboarding budget, so that they can equip their home office when they start their path at the company, annual budgets - for remote work and personal development -, 15 additional days of parental leave, in addition to the maximum parental leave provided by law, 3 caring days per year to work on side projects that support causes with a positive impact on our society, in-person retreats twice a year, among several other perks.
Since we at Coverflex are driven by two fundamental rules - the first being “Extreme employee obsession” and the second (yes, you got it right) “Extreme employee obsession -, we are very pleased with the recognition given to us by GPTW®, the global authority on this subject. We are also positive that we do not intend to stop here and we believe that there is still room for us to be even better and to promote an increasingly solid culture.
How does the selection process work?
- GPTW® identifies throughout the year the organisations that, according to employees, are good places to work, through the questionnaire Trust Index®.
- Companies that meet the stipulated criteria receive their Certified™ seal and become eligible for the Best Workplaces™ ranking.
- Companies recognised as Certified™ are audited on their people management practices and policies.
Only the companies with the highest rates of trust by their team and the best qualified practices based on the GPTW® methodology achieve a place in the ranking. The study that led to this ranking included 60,000 employees and more than 200 companies. For the study, more than 1000 practices of the evaluated organisations were analysed.
