Three years, not three moments
The Sifted Leaderboard identifies the 100 private, independent startups with the strongest revenue growth across nine countries, including Portugal, Spain, Italy, and France, ranked by compound annual growth rate over the past two financial years.
What makes three consecutive inclusions significant is that this is not a cumulative list. Each edition is a fresh ranking of current performance, which means companies that have previously appeared in previous years must earn their place again. Sustained growth across multiple financial years is both the requirement and the proof.
